- October 19, 2011
- NBT Bank donates $1,500 to the Foundation.
- 2nd Annual retreat for members of the Foundation is set for November 6th.
- First Annual South Glens Falls Education Dinner is set for December 1, 2011 at Maudes. Grant recipients and supporters of the Foundation will be asked to attend.
- September 21, 2011
- Kathie Spangler resigned from the Ed Foundation.
- Bridget Patton and Jim Whorf join the Board of the Ed Foundation.
- July 14, 2011
- The Ed Foundation established the Major Giving Committee to develop long term and planned giving.
- Donald Theis Memorial Fund was established for an annual award for a person pursuing a trade vocation.
- June 15, 2011
- Bill Elder resigns as Treasurer and Anne Linehan agrees to step up as Treasurer. Officers were elected: President Eileen Minder, Lisa Lebowitz, Treasurer Anne Linehan and Secretary Laura VanGuilder Application timeline was established with final grants to be awarded by December 15, 2011.
- Lizzie Been installed as Student Liaison.
- May 18, 2011
- Cones for Camp in partnership with Mr. Bills and with cone cutouts printed by Tim Cooper the Ed Foundation set up informational table and accepted donations to fund the scholarship program for Camp Moreau.
- Letters were sent out to members of the South Glens Falls Chamber of Commerce to introduce local businesses to the Ed Foundation. Eileen Minder spoke with Rotary Club and Knights of Columbus to share the mission of the Ed Foundation.

- The Ed Foundation will support Camp Moreau with scholarships for children age 5 -12 to attend.

The South Glens Falls Education Foundation is a tax-exempt, Not-for-Profit charitable organization whose mission is to raise and provide funding for programs, activities and projects which promote creativity, growth and educational opportunities in the communities encompassing the South Glens Falls Central School District.
- The group agreed on South Glens Falls Education Foundation as its official name.
