The South Glens Falls Education Foundation presented to the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern NY a grant check in the amount of $13,725 for the Nutritional Nuggets BackPack Program. This Grant wa available because of the generosity and major contributions from SCA Tissue of South Glens Falls, CR Bard, and TD Bank. Support was also received from the Employee Association of Finch Pruyn. The Total commitment of this Grant will cover a full year of the BackPack Program.
This grant will cover a full year of the program, which helps alleviate child hunger by discreetly providing hungry children with BackPacks full of nutritious and easy-to-prepare food on Friday afternoons so they have food to eat throughout the weekend.
