The South Glens Falls Education Foundation presented to the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern NY a grant check in the amount of $13,725 for the Nutritional Nuggets BackPack Program. This Grant wa available because of the generosity and major contributions from SCA Tissue of South Glens Falls, C Bard, and TD Bank. Support was also received from the Employee Association of Finch Pruyn. The Total commitment of this Grant will cover a full year of the BackPack Program.
This grant will cover a full year of the program, which helps alleviate child hunger by discreetly providing hungry children with BackPacks full of nutritious and easy-to-prepare food on Friday afternoons so they have food to eat throughout the weekend.
